Sometimes a watch comes along that is as fun as it is rare.
We love this late 1960s funky two-tone Air King that was a tournament prize at the Odessa Pro-Am golf tournament in 1969. We love the stylized golfer post-swing and the cool purple writing. We’re pretty sure you won’t see another of these for a while!
The silver soleil-finish dial has gold applied hour makers and coronet and has matching hands.
The case is in excellent condition with nice definition on the yellow gold fluted bezel. This cool Air King will come on the pictured Bulang and Sons leather strap and the automatic movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
We find these logo dial watches fascinating and have written a new article on them that you can read
Please feel free to swing by the office and let’s see if we can score a hole in one with this watch!
